Marking the band’s 75th anniversary and celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the band has been putting on a bonus numbers of events throughout the summer. The Youth band produced their first CD in September and David Loftus (Youth band MD) was awarded an MBE for his work and contributions.

Looking forward to a busy year, the band starts with a spring concert with St Hilary’s School and Music Kids, and the Youth band has a very successful run of 1st prizes at the Godalming Music Festival.
