Mayor of Waverley's Charity Concert

Join us, Godalming Operatic Society and the Mayer of Waverley for a charity concert in aid of the Citizen’s Advice Bureau on Saturday 18th October.

Held from 7:30pm at Charterhouse School Hall, it will feature both groups independently and massed in a varied programme of music. Tickets are available online for £12.50.

New vacancies

Godalming Band is looking for three new players to join us on B♭ and E♭ bass, euphonium and percussion.

We’re a friendly local band with a variety of concerts and events throughout the year, and taking part in the occasional regional contest.

We’d welcome anybody interested in one of the posts to contact us and come along for a Monday rehearsal to play with the band. Please see the details on our vacancies page.

November 2012 newsletter

Marking the band’s 75th anniversary and celebrating the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, the band has been putting on a bonus numbers of events throughout the summer. The Youth band produced their first CD in September and David Loftus (Youth band MD) was awarded an MBE for his work and contributions.
